As an artist of several mediums, I find that there is something that is consistent amongst each discipline. 

Each medium challenges the artist to be true to themselves, true to their vision, true to why you want to be an artist. Artists should not change their work for popularity, sales, or to make others happy!

No, rather, the artist must find a way to present their works in a fashion that meets their vision in such a way that others can see the artist's true vision. A vision not watered down to please others. 

Artists are the visionaries. Fans are the watchers. In entering into that agreement, each must do their part!
